THE EXECUTIVE TEAM


Auriol Stevens

CEO

Auriol was appointed CEO and Director of Inogesis in July 2015. Auriol is also a Director of Restoration Partners, the Technology Merchant Bank. Outside of these executive roles, Auriol is the deputy chair of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Security Science and Technology, Imperial College and a member of the Investment Committee of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Bright Ideas Fund. As well as acting as mentor as part of professional programs like CyLon and Cyber 101, Auriol also advises several small businesses, and offers support and mentorship on an informal basis to individuals, with a particular emphasis on equality and diversity. Auriol is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (ACSI) and graduated with an LLB Honours Degree from Sussex University in 2005.   auriol@inogesis.com

Mike Kennedy

Director

Mike joined Inogesis in 2015 as part of the founding team. Mike has been involved in the venture capital and private equity fund management space since 2000 with 3i plc, YFM Group, Electra and Acuity Capital and has led multiple transactions ranging from seed through to exit across a range of sectors.   mike@inogesis.com

Tim McSweeney

Solutions Director

Tim is a founding member of Inogesis. He is responsible for the business strategy and process design, business development, special projects design, development and management support. Tim joined Inogesis in early 2017 after supporting the company as an advisor. He has over 15+ years’ experience in business analytics and information design, in the healthcare, media and non-profit sectors. Tim is also Partner of Restoration Partners and previously worked at GLL where he supported a partnership between GLL and the NHS in designing, implementing and operating a patient referral scheme.   tim@inogesis.com

Ollie Bone

Solutions Manager

Ollie has led and helped build innovation projects for Leidos, GSK, the MoD and Unilever; including the design of a corporate collaboration accelerator for PA Consulting. He has developed client relationships and built partnerships with the likes of the Bank of England, the City of London Corporation and Cranfield University. He has worked on 10+ challenges. Prior to Inogesis, Ollie was an account manager at a creative agency where he worked with technology corporates and is a University of Nottingham Graduate.  ollie@inogesis

Elena Pedhiou

Marketing Executive

Elena manages the marketing and ecosystem engagement of the Inogesis SME and partner network. She is Project Leader of the Cyber 101 bootcamp programme that offers business growth and commercialisation mentorship to start-ups across the UK. Elena graduated from Manchester University in 2013 with a Marketing degree. She began her career at Marks and Spencer Plc on the Marketing Graduate Scheme in 2013 and has worked as a PR Associate in 2015 within the hospitality and retail industry before joining Inogesis in 2016.  elena@inogesis.com

Fred Krefting

Innovation Analyst

Fred leads the curation and discovery of companies, finding exciting innovators from across the globe and bringing them into projects across the Inogesis’ client portfolio, to help solve corporate challenges. Since joining he has built out and developed the innovator community at Inogesis. Additionally, he has led innovation projects for the likes of GSK, and Unilever. He joined Inogesis at the turn of 2016 after having completed a Masters in Global Business Management.  fred@inogesis.com

Miles Singleton

Innovation Analyst

Miles joined Inogesis in 2017. He has his finger on the pulse of the innovator community and understands the value of their offering. His analytical skills stem from his masters in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Finance. Whilst his previous experience offers a creative viewpoint, which lends to the strategy and marketing of projects. miles@inogesis.com

Brad Pietras

Director of Technology

Brad has over twenty-years of experience in advanced programmes for Lockheed Martin, where he has led R&D initiatives around the world and with UK universities and industry. He is also presently a Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine in Baltimore.  Brad joined Inogesis in 2016 and focuses on creating new start-up companies, advising our portfolio members, and shaping Virtual Technology Clusters. brad@inogesis.com

Sir Kenneth Olisa, OBE

Chairman

Ken is Founder and Chairman of Restoration Partners, the boutique technology merchant bank and architects of Inogesis formerly known as The Virtual Technology Cluster model. Ken’s technology career spans over 30 years commencing with IBM from whom he won a scholarship while at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. In 1992, after twelve years as a senior executive at Wang Labs in the US and Europe, Ken founded Interregnum, the technology merchant bank. He was elected as a Fellow of the British Computer Society in 2006. He is currently Deputy Chairman of The Institute of Directors and Chairman of Interswitch (Africa’s largest e-payments company). He is a former Director of Thomson Reuters and Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) where he coined the famous epigram “More Soviet than City” to describe the manner of his departure. Ken is a Freeman of the City of London, Liveryman and Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, Patron of Thames Reach (for which he received an OBE in 2010), and Chairman of charity Shaw Trust.  He was an original member of the Postal Services Commission (PostComm) and the Independent Parliamentary Standard Authority (IPSA) and is the Founder and Chairman of the Aleto Foundation. He is a past Sunday Times Not for Profit Non-Executive Director of the year and was named Number 1 in the 2016 Powerlist’s roster of the UK’s most influential black people. In 2013 Ken and his wife, Julia, endowed the Olisa Library at his alma mater Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.  In 2015, Her Majesty the Queen appointed Ken as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Greater London and he was knighted in the 2018 New Year’s Honours List for services to business and philanthropy.

James Lort

Director

James is a partner at John Moore & Co and a founding partner of Inogesis. James is passionate about technology transfer and gained an understanding of its potential importance to the UK whilst working with Allied Minds, a US based Technology Company, initially helping it raise $100 million pre IPO in 2013 before aiding with its IPO on the LSE in June 2014. He has previously worked at Savills and Legal and General, is MRICS qualified and has passed Level 1 of the CFA Program. james@inogesis.com

Janice Munday, CBE

Director

Prior to joining Inogesis in 2016, Janice Munday was Director of Advanced Manufacturing and Services for the UK Department of Business Innovation and Skills. Janice foresaw the need for large and small businesses to work closer together to achieve excellence when she developed and delivered the innovative Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative (AMSCI – 2012-2015). Additional highlights from her previous roles as a civil servant, include bringing in the right to request flexible working in 2002 and championing for more female executives in senior positions in UK business. janice@inogesis.com

Michael Wellesley-Wesley

Director

Michael is a seasoned veteran of the banking and technology industries with over 30 years of experience working in both the US and UK. Currently, Michael acts as an advisor and venture investor to Alpha Venture Partners, a technology focused venture capital firm based in New York. Michael was a co-founder and director of London-based boutique investment bank Stephen Rose and Partners, prior to which he worked at Paine Webber and Schroder’s Bank. michaelww@inogesis.com

John Moore

Director

John is a City veteran and entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience. He is Chief Executive of John Moore & Co, an investment advisory business and was a founding partner in Execution Limited, which was sold to Banco Espirato Santo in 2010. John continues to create, advise and source finance for several businesses focussing on technology, oil and gas and government consultancy. john@inogesis.com
